Mr J Hodkinson  "Welcome to Avondale and thank you for visiting our website. Our school is situated in Darwen in Lancashire close to the M65 and Blackburn our larger neighbour. We have 377 pupils from 4 – 11 years of age who enjoy learning in our school and at home. They are polite, well mannered and friendly. Our school has a very good reputation for ‘excellence’ and we are all proud to be included as members of our school community. Parents, children and staff work together to make our school a happy place to learn and have fun."
