Debate in Year 3

Year 3 have been learning what a debate is and understanding that a debate has a motion and a proposition and opposition side. We linked our debate to our class novel 'The Butterfly Lion' and discussed the motion 'should the lion be sent to live back in the wild'. The children did a fantastic job at working in teams to prepare their points and delivered them beautifully.
