    Ukulele Performance

Yesterday, 3P showed off their musical talents. This term they have been learning how to play the ukulele. After only 9 lessons they have already learnt how to play chords and tunes whilst singing at the same time. Well done 3P! #3P #KS2 #Music #Parents

    3P Treat Time

For staying on green traffic light this half term 3P chose to have a pyjama party. They changed into their pyjamas and dressing gowns and snuggled up with their teddies and watched a DVD. Everybody had a great time. Well done 3P! #3P #KS2 #Parents #PSHE #Year3

    Geography

3P have been comparing Darwen to the Roman village of Ribchester. They used Google maps to look at what there is in Darwen and what there is in Ribchester. Most of them decided they preferred to live in Darwen because there was more to do. #geography #Parents #Year3 #KS2

    WE ARE AMAZING!!

On Monday, KS2 were very lucky to take part in an assembly delivered by Luke from the Believe and Succeed Academy. Luke talked to us all about how important it is to have a growth mindset and believe in ourselves. We all ended the assembly by believing that WE ARE AMAZING!! The children certainly are that at Avondale! #PSHCE #Year4 #KS2
