6DP had a great start to diversity week by trying to understand what it is like to be dyslexic. We quickly realised how tricky reading really was and how 'extra hard' our brains had to work.
To finish with, Year 6 loved completing the 'colour challenge'. We had to either say the name of the colour or say the colour that it had been shaded in - it really helped us see how other people with disabilities might find 'every day' tasks difficult. We certainly now have a better understanding of the different needs within our community.
