Fab day at Blackburn Rovers

Twenty of our Year 5/6 pupils were fortunate to be invited to attend the recent Blackburn Rovers match against Gillingham down at Ewood Park.

Not only did we get to see the game, but a whole host of other activities were planned across the day including: a stadium tour of the ground, a visit to the Games Room to play on the new FIFA 18, a trip up the FanZone to meet an X Factor singer and read out the teamsheet, waving flags on the pitch as the players came out and we were also able to take penalties on the pitch in front of all the fans at half time. It was commented that we took some brilliant penalties. All that training must have paid off!

We were also so lucky as we met Blackburn legend David Dunn, current player Craig Conway and the Rovers mascot Roar. They were all happy to take time to pose for photos with us.

We all had an amazing day and were fantastic role models for our school. Take a look at all of our photos to see just how much fun we had. A massive thanks to Blackburn Rovers Community Trust for organising a brilliant day for us all.
