We had our first Science Club of this school year and it is currently running in Year 3. The children had to think very carefully about how they could blow up a balloon without using their breath! They realised that they needed to make carbon dioxide and investigated mixing different solids and liquids until they could find one that produced this gas. They found out that the baking soda and vinegar made carbon dioxide and they used this to inflate their balloons! Check out our video on our video page!
