Brockholes Nature Reserve
Year 2 have had a great day today at Brockholes. The rainy weather that we had first thing this morning cleared away to make sure we didn’t get wet! The children searched for mini beasts, made their own out of clay, learned about habitats, identified birds and learned how animals adapt to survive. The best part about the day was seeing the children enjoying the outdoors, splashing in puddles, squelching in the mud, looking under stones and running around in fields. A great day with lots of happy children. Thanks to all the adults who came to help us especially our parent volunteers Mrs Clarke and Mrs Hawthornthwaite who gave up their day to spend it with us! Much appreciated.
