The Year of the Tiger

The 1st of February marked Chinese New Year and saw Yr. 3 finding out all about how it is celebrated across the world.

The children began the day learning about how and why Chinese New Year is different and the traditions and celebrations that happen to mark the occasion.

The children wrote postcards about how they were celebrating, researched and made lanterns, tried Chinese food and looked into the importance of oracle bones before making their own.
