Helen Brimelow

I grew up in Darwen and after moving away for university and work overseas I chose to come and settle back in our beautiful town. I am very proud of what Darwen and especially Avondale has to offer my family.

 

I am a mum of 3 (2 girls and a boy) who are all currently at Avondale. 

 

I have been on the PTFA for 4 years and this year feel ready to take on a new challenge as a governor, supporting the school as it continues to grow and develop. 

 

I am Head of Technical Accounting at HSB Engineering Insurance Limited and hope that my work experience and skills as a chartered accountant will help me as I learn more in my role as governor.
