Our School Council

Every other Wednesday the school council meet at least twice per half term to talk about ways to improve our school and share ideas.

Each class from Year 1 - Year 6 has 2 school representatives who lead discussions, to ensure that every child in school is able to contribute ideas, to make Avondale School the best it can be!

Got a question? Speak to your class Representative or write it down on the poster in your classroom.

What is the School Council?

The school council works to make improvements to the school and the way we do things at Avondale. We look around for things that could be better and discuss what to do. Everyone gets a chance to speak and when we've finished we vote on the best ideas and then start working on changing things. Sometimes we will have to talk to Mrs Brown or other teachers and sometimes we will have to make phone calls to people outside of school.
