Welcome to Year 1 

Some things to remember:

 

PE is on Mondays and Wednesdays for both classes.  Please ensure that your child's full P.E kit is always in school and that any earrings are removed if possible (plasters to cover are allowed).

 

Homework  our focus is on reading and phonics practice. Please practise your child's phonetically decodable book at least 5 times per week. Enjoy reading and sharing your child's library book and any other books you enjoy at home. As the year progresses we may send small bits of additional  homework that supports learning in other areas too.

 

Reading- Please ensure that your child brings their reading book to school on a daily basis.
