School Day​

  • The school day starts at 8:45am (although children are welcomed into school at 8:35am)

  • Lunch is between 12:00pm and 1:00pm

  • School finishes at 3:15pm

  • These timings amount to a typical school week of 32.5 hours

Where to come into school and leave​

  • 1N pupils should be dropped off via their classroom door on Durham Rd. 

  • Reception dropped off and collected from reception outdoor area.

  • All other classes please use the playground.

What to do if you are late
Morning

You must go to the School Office where your child will be signed in.  This is to ensure your child is registered as present and will be included in lunch numbers. They will then either walk or be taken down to their classroom.

Afternoon

If you are going to be late to pick up your child, please ring school and let us know on 01254 703449. If you are running late for after school club, please contact Avondale Out of School Club on 01254 703449 or 07552247941.

If your child has not been collected for any reason a member of staff will ring to contact, you to inform you that your child has not been collected.

If you know you are going to be late and want someone else to pick up your child, you must let the school know that you have authorized this person to pick up your child.
