Chris Hill

 I have now been a governor at Avondale for 1 year thoroughly enjoying my role working alongside Iain and the other governors to ensure continued high standards for all the pupils here at Avondale.

​

I have recently retired from the police service after over thirty years working across Greater Manchester keeping people safe. I now own a company as a security consultant providing information, advice, and direction to protect people and assets.  

​

I am married to my amazing wife Aimie and have three beautiful sons, two of which love attending Avondale and when we are not at work we can be found watching the boys swim, playing football, or going on walks or days out.

I have a passion for standards, safety and security and look forward to incorporating my skills, knowledge and experience into the role of school parent governor to ensure continued healthy challenge on behalf of all the parents/ careers who have children that attend our school.
