Jade Johnson

I am a wife and mother of two from Darwen. I live locally with my husband, Ryan, who is currently training to be a HGV delivery driver for Booths Supermarkets, my daughter, Jemima, who attends Avondale School and is currently in reception and my son, Jasper who is about to start at Les Enfants. I am coming towards the end of my maternity leave and will be returning to work as a trainee solicitor hoping to qualify in 2024. I have a 2:1 BA dual honours degree in Law with Sociology from the University of Warwick and I have worked within the legal sector since graduating and completing my legal practice certificate. In my very limited spare time I enjoy reading, walking, going to the theatre and cinema and generally spending lots of time with my family and friends. I am new to being a governor but I am keen to learn more, to hopefully benefit the school with some of my knowledge and skills but to primarily support Mrs Brown, her staff and the other Governors in flying the flag for Avondale School, making it the best it can be and upholding its ethos and values.
