I’m an incredibly proud Darrener and I’m passionate about doing everything I can to support our town and my fellow residents, especially our youngsters.

I’m a Strategic Communications Manager at Blackburn with Darwen Council, reporting directly to the Council’s Leadership.

​

As part of my work, I’m currently relishing being part of the team leading on the £100m Darwen Town Deal – more investment for our town than we’ve ever seen before in our lifetimes.

​

While I absolutely love my job, nothing compares to being mum to my two boys, with my youngest son a pupil here at Avondale and my eldest having had the very best start to his education here too. Family is everything to me.

I always strive to try and help make a difference in all I do in life and that’s the same for this appointment as Local Government Authority Governor.
