Year 2 say goodbye to chicks

Year 2 have had the 'best weeks ever' with the chicks. They have watched the eggs in the incubator, watched the chicks hatch out, cared for them as they have grown, stroking them, talking to them and cuddling them.  They have enjoyed hearing them chirping whilst they were learning. Look at how much they have grown! They are really sad to see them go but have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of seeing the beginning of a life cycle of a chick. The children said their goodbyes by having a final cuddle and singing 'Spring Chicken' to the chicks.
