Year 5 meet our local MP

Year 5 had a special visitor in class today. To launch our Careers Week next week, we had a visit on from the local labour MP for Rossendale and Darwen, Mr Andy McNae.  He spoke to the children about his job as an MP, how he came to the role and what skills and qualities were needed.  The children had the opportunity to ask him some great questions and also learn about all the amazing job opportunities there are in the local area.
