Katie Holden

• I am currently the practice manager of a dental practice in Fulwood, Preston. I have previous experience as a Secondary School Teacher, teaching for around 9 years before having a career change. I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, having completed by Diploma in Human Resources. 

• I live in Darwen with my husband and our two boys who attend Avondale. In my spare time I enjoy spending time as a family in our campervan and enjoy cheering my boys on in their football games which takes up most of our weekends! I thoroughly enjoy cooking and entertaining our family and friends. 

• I am proud to be an Avondale parent and my role as a governor allows me to support the school as it continues to grow and develop.
