More Careers Talks in Year 5

Year 5 were treated to 2 people today talking to them about their careers. Toni (Amelie's mum) and Darren work as event programmers and marketing managers for local event venues such a King George's Hall and Darwen Library Theatre. Darren was also the man behind the organising of Darwen Live. It was really interesting hearing about their jobs and what goes into organising big events in the area. The children were particularly interested in the really famous people who has performed at these places. Huge thank you to you both for giving up your time to come into school today.
