Reading at the Heart of the Curriculum

At our school, we believe that reading is at the heart of learning. A good book can spark imagination, build vocabulary, and open doors to new worlds. Just 10 minutes of reading each day can make a huge difference to a child’s progress and confidence.
We encourage families to share stories together at home, whether it’s a bedtime story, a comic, or a favourite magazine. Visiting the library, swapping books with friends, or letting children choose their own reading material can all help make reading fun and meaningful.
Together, let’s inspire our children to become lifelong readers. After all, every page turned is a step towards new adventures!
