    Jazz experience at Avondale

Wow! What an exciting afternoon we have all had here at Avondale today! We have been treated to a live concert from the National Youth Jazz Orchestra! The band explained about all the different instruments and how they work as well as playing a range of jazz music. The children loved having the opportunity to listen to a genre of music that they may not have heard before. Hopefully this will inspire our children to learn to play an instrument. Avondale's Got Talent!

Wow!! What a sensational afternoon here at Avondale. The talent show this year has been incredible. We saw a wide range of acts including singing, dancing, comedy and even hula hooping! All the children were fantastic and had a real stage presence throughout the show. The judges found it difficult to pick the winning acts as the competition was so strong. The event ended with Charlie & Ciera from Year 6 taking the spot for joint first, they both performed as solo artists
