Digital Leaders

Every Tuesday lunchtime, a dedicated group of Avondale’s young Digital Leaders give up their break to dive into the world of technology — and what an amazing job they’re doing!

Over the past few weeks, our Digital Leaders have been hard at work creating online animated Christmas stories for our younger children. Their creativity has shone through as they bring festive characters to life on screen, designing stories that are fun, imaginative, and perfect for getting everyone into the Christmas spirit.

But that’s not all!

Our keen coders have taken their skills to the next level and have begun learning Python, one of the world’s most popular programming languages. Today, they explored the Turtle library, discovering how to write code to draw and decorate their very own festive Christmas trees.

We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination our Digital Leaders show each week. They inspire others across the school and demonstrate just how exciting learning with technology can be.
