Gardeners and Seeds

Our Year 6 children showed us today what fantastic leaders they are going to be this year when they went to the new reception classes to welcome them to our school. Our year 6 'gardeners' have been given a reception 'seed' to nurture, support and grow. We are planning some nice events in school where they can spend time together helping our reception children to settle into life at Avondale and our year 6 children understanding what responsible leaders they are.
