Year 3/4/5/6 Indoor Athletics

Earlier this half term, the Year 3/4 Indoor Athletics and the Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics competitions took place. The Year 3/4 team did brilliantly to finish in 2nd place. The Year 5/6 team won their heat and then went through to the final finishing in 4th place overall out of 25 schools. It was wonderful to see so many of our pupils representing Avondale and they all performed superbly.

Gymnastics in 4F

4F started our new P.E. topic this afternoon and learnt some gymnastic poses such as the pike, straddle and front support as well as some tricky partner balances before putting them into a routine.
