6C Study Victorian Darwen

Year 6 have been studying maps of Darwen from 1784, 1845 and 1890. The children then compared them to what life is like in Darwen today. They also studied the rise of the cotton mill industry and how Darwen played a pivotal role in the trade of cotton.
