Year 5/6 Football

Yesterday, a team of Year 5 and Year 6 pupils represented Avondale in a football tournament against many schools from Blackburn with Darwen. This was a superb opportunity as it enabled some of our pupils (who haven't represented school yet this year) to play for one of the teams. The team demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination and resilience and played brilliantly to win most of their games. Well done to all involved.
